Panel Discussion “100 Years of Women’s Suffrage” Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.
The Salisbury Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is meeting Thursday, November 14, 5:30 pm, Rowan Chamber of Commerce, 204 East Innes Street, Salisbury. Enter the Chamber of Commerce from the rear parking lot. The presentation will be a panel discussion on the topic of “100 Years of Women’s Suffrage”. The discussants are M.J. Simms-Maddox, P. Jane Splawn, and Tamara Sheffield. Dr. Simms-Maddox is Professor of Political Science and Chair of the Department of History and Political Science at Livingstone College. Dr. Splawn is Professor of English in the Division of Liberal Arts and Humanities at Livingstone College. Tamara Sheffield serves on the Salisbury City Council and is a Senior Key Account Manager at Frito-Lay. The discussion will be moderated by AAUW member Dr. Da’Tarvia Parrish.
